We are gathered here today, to say goodbye to a good friend of mine.
His name was, Mac.
I only had him for five months, but we had already shared a ton. I really trusted him and while I hate to talk shit about someone at their own funeral, he died and took everything with him.
What a bastard.
But it’s sort of my fault too, I suppose. I didn’t give him the loving backup he deserved. I just assumed a Server God was …

The cast from Fantastic Mr. Fox!
I love that movie. Although, not as much as my roommate (Mrs. Fox), whose obsession created a cyclone of costume crazy; convincing me, and everyone one else I know, to join her in the creation of a perfect Wes Anderson moment.

John Scalzi and Wil Wheaton have teamed up to raise money for the Lupus Alliance of America.
Basically, you write a short story about this awesome picture, and turn it in by the end of June. The winner gets paid 10 cents a word, a sack of free books, and the warm fuzzy feeling that comes with doing something for charity.
If you lose I suppose you only get the warm fuzzy feeling.
Either way it’s hilarious.
Looks I found next weeks Writing Brothers’ …

I didn’t bother to check when Wil Wheaton announced it on his blog, but thanks to my friend at STG I won’t miss it *dances*
