‘Twas Fun
I’m glad my friend made me go to PAX. Lots of awesome games to look forward to. Some of the games were so cool they made me think about getting a PS3 and a 360, but I resisted. I played so much my forearms started hurting.
There were a lot of costumes and other cool stuff. Disney had a cool set up, which surprised me. And someone invited me to a local girl con. There’s not much information up about it yet, but the theory around it seems promising.
If I have the chance to go again in the future I will, but I’ll do a few things differently:
1. Bring food and water with you. Don’t ask me why I thought they’d be checking bags.
2. Waiting in line is more fun with friends. I went alone but the wait in-between game play was pretty long and boring.
3. Show up later (or really early and then go back). I was tired by 5 p.m. and couldn’t muster the energy to ride back downtown from Ballard for the concert.
Pictures!! The place was packed. Also, I was passively hoping that I’d bump into Wil Wheaton while I was there, but that didn’t happen
Oh well.
Even though I tapped out early, I did get to do something that is equally awesome to concert going (in my opinion). I made my first perfect steak! PMFM.
Thank you for sharing your meat grilling wisdom, wise QFC butcher, you know your steaks.
